Eagle Dance Team
Faculty Supervisor: Julia HerrmanMeetings: The girls practice 4 days a week: Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday as well. Mission: The Eagle Dance Team is one of the most dedicated teams that Jones College Prep has ever produced. The dance team hopes to raise school spirit and advance their dancing technique. Events: This year, they are expected to head into seven competitions. The first being Sunday, December 12th at Elk Grove High school. The second will be on Sunday, January 9th at Navy Pier. The third competition will take place on Saturday, January 29th at Bremen High School. The fourth will be held on Saturday, February 12th at Morton, and the fifth regional competition will be held on Sunday, February 20th at Stagg High School. If they qualify, they will advance to Super Sectionals on Saturday, March 5th and then hopefully further on to States on Saturday, March 12th at the University of Illinois in Champagne.
