Eco-City Club
![]() Meeting times: Thursdays after school (9th period) Meeting room: 602 or Courtyard Mission: To explore, learn about, and protect the green spaces of the Chicagoland area. To connect with the natural surroundings and enhance it whenever possible. To educate other students about the impact they have on the environment and how they can make a positive change for the future of the Earth. We will accomplish this through Chicago Conservation projects, discussion, and research. Events: Currently Eco-City is a part of the Chicago Conservation Club run by the Chicago Department of the Environment. This year they will complete three projects on waste, air, and water to better the Jones community. They will also have an annual Earth Day celebration, clean the Jones neighborhood, and adopt an eagle at the Lincoln Park Zoo. Back to Student Activities |
