International Thespian Society Faculty Supervisor: Robin BennettClub Name: International Thespian Society, Troupe # 6265 Meetings: Quarterly as called Mission: The International Thespian Society is a 75-year old Honor Society for excellence in secondary-school theatre. Students are invited to join after achieving ten "points" - with one point equaling approximately ten hours of excellent achievement in service to JCP theatre arts. Thespians sponsor the annual Faculty Follies before winter break, attend the Illinois State Theatre Festival, and participate in JCP theatre activities in many ways. Events: Induction ceremonies twice a year, and the annual JCP "Tony" Awards in May. Back to Student Activities |
