WeJAM Vocal Jazz Ensemble Sr. & Jr.
Faculty Supervisor: Gaye KlopackMission: Auditionees must be able to sing a blues scale, improvise on scat syllables, sing voice parts acappella, and participate in a video interview. Finalists win a full college scholarship in addition to a performance with GRAMMY nominees in Los Angeles. WeJAM Vocal Jazz Ensemble Sr. Meetings: Every WED in Room 221 from 3:45p - 4:45 pm Events: Jazz workshop with Roosevelt University on Oct. 15. Annual concert is on Dec. 1. Members from this group will be trying for a trip to the GRAMMY's via audition on VHS tape. WeJAM Vocal Jazz Ensemble Jr. Meetings: Every THURS in Room 221 from 3:45 p.- 4:45 pm.
