Student Art Projects
The Graphic Design class here at Jones will once again be putting their talents on display throughout the school, with their new "propaganda projects." The objective of this assignment was to create a work of art that addresses a specific social issue. Modeled in part by socio-political artists such as Barbara Kruger, students designed their works to provoke a response in the viewer in an attempt to challenge their belief system.
Once you have read the accompanying statements for each piece, we welcome you to give us feedback on the work. Whether you agree or disagree with the sentiments or methods of the art, it is the intent of this project to open a dialogue regarding these issues with the entire Jones family.
