How do I check out a book?
You need a current school ID to check out books. Your library account must be current no overdue books or unpaid fees. Books will be held for 24 hours to allow you the opportunity to clear your account.
Books can be checked out for two weeks with a renewal of an additional two weeks.
Late books have a $.05 charge per school day.

Where can I find the card catalog?
The card catalog is available on all of the computer desktops in the library. Look for the book icon, ccopac, and click. Enter author, title, keyword, etc. and then click on the appropriate button to begin searching.

What are the guidelines for computer usage?
The computers are to be used for educational purposes. This means no games of Instant Messaging. Priority of computer usage is as follows:
- Classroom instruction when reserved by a teacher for his/her class.
- Homework and school related activities.
- Personal research/interest.
There is a ten page limit. Anything over ten pages is $.10 a page.
Ask for assistance if your paper does not print. Do not click on the print option more than once.

What is the procedure for lunch and library pass?
- At the beginning of the lunch period, go to the library, sign the release pass log, and get a pass from the library personnel.
- Go eat lunch.
- Present completed pass (with your name and current date) to lunchroom security personnel to be released from the lunchroom.
- Report immediately to the library upon dismissal from the lunchroom. Sign-in at the desk upon entering the library.
- You must remain in the library until the bell rings at the end of the period.
If you are unable to abide by these guidelines, you will lose your privilege of the leaving the lunchroom for any purpose other than washroom visitation.

When can I come to the library?
The library is open before school at 7:00 and after school until 4:30 PM. Students can use the library during study hall and lunch period. Students must have a pass from his/her classroom teacher if coming to the library during a class period.
Students are responsible for leaving the library in enough time to get to class.
Library personnel will check IDs of students who do not sign-in or remain in the library after the bell has rung.
