Parking Jones College Prep has entered into a contract with Park 1 to sell off excess spaces in our large lot at Balbo and State. We realize this creates some inconveniences, but the income is supporting several programs at the school that were slated to be cut due to lack of funding. Daytime visitors can park in one of the visitor spots in our Harrison street lot. Aside from the 2 handicap spots and one reserved spot on the school wall, all other spaces on the wall of the school are visitor spots. Visitors should park in one of these spots and go immediately to the main office for a temporary permit. If the spaces are all full, visitors should double park in the Harrison Street lot and come in to the main office to receive guidance on where to park elsewhere. In the evenings, the entire Harrison Street lot and the lot in the alleyway behind the school off of Plymouth court are available for parking for people at Jones for a small-scale (LSC, PTO, Committee Meetings) evening meeting or event. If there is no event in the building on an evening and cars are parked in Harrison lot spaces, they will be towed. On evenings when there are large scale events at the school, the complimentary parking is available in the Park 1 lot located at 711 S. Plymouth Court for those visiting Jones. While this is an inconvenience, this situation funds essential programs at Jones.
