Join the Black Coalition next Tuesday, February 16th from 4PM-5PM for the Black Leadership Panel, featuring Black leaders across various fields! We will be asking our panelists about their experience in their respective roles as well as how their identity impacts the opportunities have taken and strides they have made. Near the end of the panel, we will open the floor for audience questions. This will take place on Zoom and is hosted by Black Leaders and Mentors Club at Jones.
Be sure to fill out this short RSVP form to secure a spot to participate and watch the panel. All students, even those outside of Jones, are welcome to attend. Feel free to share our flyer with friends and other communities.
Our panel features Kenya Young, Executive Producer of Morning Edition on NPR; T.J. Breeden, a social entrepreneur who founded eMerging Entrepreneurs, a non-profit organization that works to advance the small business, educational, and economic welfare of communities whose interests are under-served; Cristel Turner, Sr. Director of Brand Development & Advertising, at U.S. Cellular, with over 30 years of experience combined across client and agency sides; Raychel Barfield, Vice President of Virtual Events at PGi, a web conferencing company, who is a technology sales leader and solution-oriented client partner; and Braxton Simpson, Senior at Tennessee State University and 2020 International AKA Leadership Fellow.
