Applications to be a candidate (Parent/Community/Teacher/Non-Teacher/Student) in the 2022 LSC Election are due by 3:00 pm on Wednesday, March 9, 2022 (Extended). Deadline to file LSC candidate forms in person at the school where the candidate seeks to run. Emailed, mailed, faxed, e-mailed, or copied forms will NOT be accepted. Join the celebration as the Black Coalition presents Black History Month Showcase on Friday, February 25 at 5:00 PM in the Theater. The showcase will be followed by a free dinner starting at 7:00 PM.

Come to the Jazz Combos on Saturday, February 12, 2022 at 1:00 PM. Tickets are only $5 at the door. The concert will be held at the school in the Robin Bennett Theater.

Observing the Martin Luther King, Jr. federal holiday through service is a way to begin each year with a commitment to making your community a better place. Earlier today we learned of a potential student walk-out throughout the district tomorrow, Friday, January 14. Student organizers in the city have expressed that they have concerns over COVID-19 safety and that their voices have not been heard during the recent class cancellations. [ Click title for details ]
