Former Students

Diplomas or graduation documents are only printed once and are unable to be regenerated. Immunization records are only kept for current students.

 

All records for students who attended Jones College Prep, formerly Jones Academic Magnet, Jones Metropolitan High School of Business and Commerce, and Jones Commercial High School during 1938-2007, are now located at the Chicago Public Schools Office of Former Student Records.

Graduates 2008-Present
Jones College Prep students requesting a transcript from 2007– present (excludes current students) please note the following information.

 

• OFFICIAL TRANSCRIPT: Picked up by the student or mailed in a signed and sealed envelope that has NOT been opened before delivery to an educational institution or employer. 
• UNOFFICIAL TRANSCRIPT: Transcripts sent to institutions or employers via fax, mail, or given to a student without the school seal or in a signed/sealed envelope.

1. Each transcript costs $5 to process
2. Transcripts do not contain official test scores. Contact ACT or The College Board (SAT & AP exam scores) to have your official score reports sent
3. A maximum of four (4) unofficial transcripts may be requested in one order.
4. Transcript requests may take up to a week to process.
5. Mailed, Faxed, emailed or phone messaged transcript requests will not be processed.
