Welcome to the Jones Counselors' Corner!
The Counseling Department at Jones provides a full range of programs and services to support students' academic, personal, social, and emotional growth and development. Additionally, we aid students in exploring a variety of post-secondary options making sure they are prepared for life after Jones.
Students are assigned to a counselor for their four years at Jones based on their last name and grade level. You can find our caseload assignments on the "Contact Us" tab.
JCP Counseling Mission: The mission of the Jones College Prep Counseling Department is to provide an equitable, comprehensive, student-centered, data-informed, and developmentally appropriate program to address students’ academic and post-secondary goals and support their personal and social needs. Jones Counselors work in collaboration with parents/guardians, teachers, administrators and community members to assist students’ in reaching their full potential as contributing citizens and lifelong learners.
JCP Counseling Vision: Jones College Prep graduates will possess the skills, mindsets, and behaviors needed to identify and overcome obstacles, contribute meaningfully to their communities, and achieve success as they define it.
