Mr. Kyle Eck

 

Originally from Colorado, Mr. Eck came to the Chicago area to attend college at Northwestern, where he majored in math and theatre. Following a stint in the stage lighting-rental industry, Mr Eck got his masters in teaching from UIC. He's taught at Lincoln Park, Lane, and of course, Jones!

 

At Jones, Mr. Eck coaches the Math Team and the Esports team.

 

The Math Team competes in 6-8 mathematics contests each year, and meets weekly to prepare.

 

The Jones Esports club sponsors teams in a number of games. The club also maintains a PC gaming lab for club members (open during specific hours only.)

Outside of school, Mr. Eck enjoys spending time with his wife, his cat, and his motorcycle.
