The Jones LSC will meet on Thursday, December 3, 2020, at 5:30 pm, to certify the results of the LSC election.

On Tuesday, December 1st between 8:30AM-4:00 PM* LSC Judges will be counting the ballots (mail-in and in-person) submitted for Parents, Community, Teachers, and Non-Teachers candidates in the main lobby at Jones. Poll watchers are welcome to observe. Click the title for more details.

Congratulations to Ms. Elisa Foshay, who has been named the 2020 Dance Education Teacher of the Year by the Illinois Association of Health, Physical Education, Recreation, and Dance. Ms. Foshay has created, grown, and sustained a dynamic dance program for our school since joining the Jones faculty in 2014. Her talents as a dancer and as a teacher, coupled with her commitment and determination have created a program unequaled in my experience as an educator.

Winter sports tryouts are here! Students interested in Competitive Cheerleading,
Competitive Dance, Girls and Boys Bowling, and Boys Swimming and Diving can find information on the tryouts page [click title]. Girls and Boys High School Basketball is postponed until further notice.

A Virtual Candidate Forum will be held at 5:30 P.M. on Tuesday, October 20th.

LSC Elections are coming up! Make a plan to vote for representatives who will make a difference at your school on November 19 (high schools).

Lifetouch Photography will be at the school to take yearbook pictures for students in grades 9, 10, 11 on weekdays from November 2 – November 6. See the schedule for your assigned day/time. Click on title for details.

For a limited time, seniors can take their yearbook photos or portraits at school. Starting weekdays October 26-November. An email was sent to both senior students and parents with details or click on the title.

The US Department of Education has announced that Jones College Prep is a National Blue Ribbon School for 2020!  Click title for more details.
